Life coaching is the art and science of supporting a person move from where they are in life, to where they want to be. It can be thought of as a journey and is a supportive partnership between coach and coachee, where the coach supports you in identifying your dreams and passions, setting meaningful goals and overcoming barriers. Whether you aim to improve your health and wellbeing, are feeling stuck, seek a career change, or wish for a better work/life balance, a life coach offers the encouragement and support you need for success.

Life coaching is totally coachee centred, with a coach asking insightful questions, providing valuable feedback, and holding you accountable for your progress to make sure you stay on track.

Life coaching is different from counselling or therapy; it focuses on looking forward. A life coach believes that the coachee has all their answers within. They are not there to provide advice but to help coachees find answers themselves and support them throughout their journey forward.  They do this by exploring options with you about how you can reach your desired destination and breaking your journey down into manageable steps. It usually works best over a series of sessions, on a weekly or fortnightly basis, although the frequency and number of sessions depends on each unique person.
