Tai Chi and Nutrition for Health and Wellness

(Tai Chi and Qigong Relaxation Classes, Courses and Events)

1. Our Purpose

All Tai Chi and Qigong classes, courses, workshops, and events offered by Tai Chi and Nutrition for Health and Wellness are intended solely for health, relaxation, leisure purposes and general wellbeing. They are not intended to be, either in whole or in part, a teacher training programme and are designed for participants who wish to attend for health, relaxation and leisure purposes. To maintain the integrity of the learning environment, we kindly ask that students refrain from promoting or soliciting for external classes or competing services during our sessions. This ensures the focus remains entirely on our collective practise and the wellbeing of the group.

Our focus is entirely on helping individuals enjoy the gentle, mindful, relaxing movements of Tai Chi and Qigong for personal wellbeing.
The martial aspects and combat elements of Tai Chi or Qigong are not taught or practiced within any class or event.

2. Looking After Your Health

Your wellbeing is important to us. Please make sure you are fit and well enough to take part before attending.
If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, we recommend checking with your GP or healthcare provider before joining.
During classes, please listen to your body and work within your own comfort level. Let your instructor know about any injuries / medical conditions so we can adapt movements where needed.

3. Personal Responsibility and Safety

We do everything we can to provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment. However, participation is at your own risk, and Tai Chi and Nutrition for Health and Wellness cannot be held liable for any injury, loss or damage that may occur during classes, courses or events, whether in person or online except where such injury, loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
Please take care, move mindfully and stop immediately if you feel any pain or discomfort.

4. Class Etiquette

To  maintain a relaxed, mindful and respectful space for all class participants, classes begin promptly at the scheduled time and we kindly ask that all participants are settled and quiet at least 3 minutes before the session begins.

5. Complaints

If you have any concerns during a class/course/event, please inform Hazel Moffatt, the Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor immediately and she will endeavour to put things right.
